Thomas Cannady
Vice President, Network Services
Thomas Cannady is Vice President of Network Services at Cyxtera and has over 20 years of experience in data center and interconnection services. Thomas leads an engineering team responsible for developing and delivering next generation network services across the Cyxtera global data center footprint.
Thomas came to Cyxtera from Verizon where he was responsible for the architecture and global network operations teams supporting all cloud and managed service offerings. Prior to that he lead the Transport Engineering organization at Terremark where he was responsible for the global network expansion into EMEA, APAC and LATAM over a 7 year period. Thomas has also held multiple optical engineering roles throughout his career with Alcatel-Lucent, Verizon FNS and SAIC.
Thomas started his professional career in the US Air Force where he spent 8 years in the field of Cryptographic Telecommunications. Thomas holds a BS degree in Information Systems from Strayer University and enjoys biking and spending time with family.
