Channel Partners in Business

Channel executive selected for creating new opportunities for global expansion and a stronger, more efficient channel strategy

Cyxtera (NASDAQ: CYXT), a global leader in data center colocation and interconnection services, today announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Nick Voth, Vice President, Global Channel Strategies and Sales, to its 2022 Channel Chiefs list. CRN’s annual Channel Chiefs project identifies top IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence and innovation in channel leadership.

“Cyxtera achieved significant growth in its channel program over the past year on multiple fronts. This includes a significant increase in channel bookings, doubling the number of partners since Nick joined Cyxtera, growing the channel team headcount, and launching our GSI, Alliance, and Ecosystem routes to market,” said David Keasey, Cyxtera’s Executive Vice President of Global Sales. “All of this was possible because of Nick’s leadership and deep commitment to providing our channel partners with what they needed to grow and succeed. His being named again as a CRN Channel Chief is more than well-deserved.”

Last year, Voth spearheaded the launch of two significant partner programs:

  • Ecosystem Partner Program, which connects partners to a rich ecosystem of providers, enabling them to accelerate their growth and generate profitable new revenue streams by selling digital exchange solutions to a ready-to-buy audience of more than 2,300 existing Cyxtera customers. The program works to reinforce the partner’s position as a trusted resource and advisor to their clients and offers built-in marketing tools and flexible terms that translate into zero channel conflict.
  • Global Federal Partner Program, which offers partners competitive reseller pricing as a way of generating a profitable revenue stream by integrating Cyxtera retail colocation, interconnection, and Enterprise Bare Metal solutions into their core offerings. Participants provide government agencies access to Cyxtera’s suite of digital infrastructure and interconnection solutions, as well as the company’s expansive ecosystem of network providers and cloud on ramps.

A panel of CRN editors selected the honorees for their channel dedication, industry stature and accomplishments as channel advocates. The 2022 Channel Chiefs are influential leaders who continue to shape the IT channel with innovative strategies, programs and partnerships.

“CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs recognition is given exclusively to the foremost channel executives who consistently design, promote, and execute effective partner programs and strategies,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “We’re thrilled to recognize the tireless work and unwavering commitment these honorees put into fostering outstanding business innovation and building strong partner programs to drive channel engagement and success.”

CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs list will be featured in the February 2022 issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/ChannelChiefs.
