Hybrid IT, Connectivity in Data Centers

I spent time with 451 Research, Senior Analyst of Data Center Networking, Craig Matsumoto, to get a sense of the trends impacting how enterprises address growing demand for cloud and hybrid IT connectivity with more flexibility and cost-efficiency.

One of the important discussion topics was around the questions you should ask when looking at connectivity to support a particular workload. These included:

  • Is Direct Internet Access (DIA) good enough?
  • Does your enterprise have a strong internal IT team?
  • How many clouds, on-ramps and outside parties are involved?
  • How much bandwidth is needed?

Hear why these questions are important from Craig at 451 Research.

You can listen to the full Q&A session on interconnection priorities for hybrid IT.
