Connectivity, Marketplace in Data Centers

Data center customers are demanding more choice for cloud connectivity. While many companies cannot or may not want to move 100% of their IT into a public cloud environment, more enterprises are designing their IT environments with a mixture of colocation data center services and public cloud technology. Customers with a sensitivity to the security and performance of their cloud infrastructure find that a hybrid strategy delivers the benefits of both public and private. Hybrid approaches also allow enterprises to match workloads to the environments that best suit them.

To support our customers, Zayo, a global communications infrastructure solutions provider, will enable Cyxtera data center customers to use CloudLink to connect directly to major cloud service providers. Zayo’s high-performance connectivity solutions will be available in 39 Cyxtera locations, including Albuquerque, Burbank, Chicago, Fort Worth, London, Newark, Phoenix, Irvine, and Vancouver BC.

Cyxtera and CloudLink offer enterprises a secure, high-performance direct connection to more than 50 cloud providers. Cxytera’s top-tier data center services combined with Zayo’s CloudLink gives customers a direct connection to these providers without having to utilize the public internet.

CloudLink provides a direct and secure connection to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform and other major cloud providers.
