Hybrid IT, Connectivity, Marketplace in Interconnection

Cyxtera continues to evolve and grow our Data Center Services portfolio with new interconnectivity and ecosystem partners to better serve our customers. Our most recent addition is direct access via Megaport’s SDN to SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud in our IAD2 Virginia Data Center campus.

SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud is a fully scalable and secure private managed cloud solution customers can use to support their digital transformation. It provides production availability that spans the entire application and infrastructure stack, a full menu of functional and technical services, and the control you would expect on premise – in one privately managed environment.

As more enterprises leverage SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud to support their critical business applications including SAP S/4 HANA, low latency and secure network access is needed to further protect and optimize data. Megaport’s network bypasses the public internet providing customers direct, secure and scalable layer 2 connectivity to SAP directly via SAP Cloud Peering or to SAP solutions hosted on AWS, Microsoft and Google. These dedicated and secure connections are very cost effective and can be built with multiple paths in less than a few clicks to achieve maximum resiliency to SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud. Customers will have greater flexibility and resiliency to directly connect their SAP solutions between on-premise within our IAD datacenter and SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud.
