Cyxtera Ecosystem Grows By 25% In First Half of 2022

Demand for IT services continues to grow and Cyxtera is leading the charge with continued Ecosystem Partner growth and a new, improved Marketplace enabling easier research and navigation. In late 2021, we launched the new Cyxtera Ecosystem Partner Program to enable our customers to have greater flexibility and agility in managing their IT strategies through as-a-Service (XaaS) solution models. Service-based IT was boosted as a critical driver of workforce efficiency due to the pandemic. Now, enterprises are also seeing the benefits of shifting to more of an OPEX, pay-as-you-go model.

Creativity and Feature Set Differentiation

Cyxtera’s Ecosystem Partner Program enables our partners to reach our global customer base – approximately 2300 organizations – through our online Marketplace and go-to-market activities. For our customers, adding or changing services to improve latency, reduce expenses, and bring new innovations to market becomes easier with procurement, in most cases, taking seconds to accomplish through Cyxtera’s Digital Exchange. Digital Exchange is the backbone of our on-demand infrastructure and interconnection technology that enables you to build, operate, and scale compute, network, storage and security solutions.

Innovation

Trusted partner services are an essential component of our Marketplace. Building this program, we created a tiered structure to ensure high visibility for our partners to our customers in relevant markets. Collaborating with the partner, we develop customized marketing programs with technical support.

As a result, the program has grown by 25% more partners since inception.

New Backup-as-a-Service Solution

We work with strategic Ecosystem Partners; Sirius, a CDW Company, and KELYN Technologies; to enable Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS). Deployed on custom Enterprise Bare Metal nodes in a Cyxtera Data Center, our partners offer scheduled backups for primary data, and replication to secondary locations for business continuity through Commvault, Rubrik, Veeam, and other software technologies. Marketplace Ease of Use and Interoperability

Through Cyxtera’s Marketplace, customers can preview all Ecosystem Partner services available and easily make changes through the Customer Portal.

Over the long term, the Ecosystem Partner Program provides a one-stop shop and a basis for growth for not only our customers, but service providers within the ecosystem.

In addition, we updated the design and experience to make it easier for customers to search for solutions by category, data center, and specific products. The new Marketplace promises to enhance your experience with a simpler editing experience and the ability to include more details on how your product offerings meet the needs of your customers.
