Every month our blog highlights a new addition to our Cyxtera ecosystem, a rich, diverse environment that allows all participants to accelerate innovation and drive revenue. This month, we feature the availability of the Nutanix Xi Cloud flagship product, Xi Leap Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), in our Slough data center, with direct on-demand connectivity through Megaport’s global Software Defined Network (SDN) across 528 enabled data centers.
Nutanix Xi Leap DRaaS is a fully integrated DR-to-cloud solution that rapidly and intelligently protects applications and data in your Nutanix environment without the need to purchase and maintain a separate infrastructure stack. By utilizing the same platform on-premises and in the recovery site, Xi Leap eliminates the need for complex translation of constructs, policies, and data models across environments.
Cyxtera customers can now choose to consume the Nutanix Xi Cloud, including Xi Leap, in the London metro region.
This will give customers multiple design options to deliver 100% uptime, reduce risk, and provide superior resiliency. Megaport’s global SDN provides fast, secure, dedicated layer 2 interfaces to the Nutanix Xi Cloud. With all these options, customers have total control over the way they consume their cloud applications.
